I went to see them last night in the Village (gig venue)......they can still do it 😀 😀 😀

I think i slam danced and jigged for two straight hours 😀

Saw them in 2004 (twice - once at Glasto) and 2005 - they do an excellent live show still.

Tracks like "Road" sent goosebumps down my spine...

I've been into them since their first album, back when i was a neo-treehugger (a punk that liked sticking it to the man).

Their version of "the devil went down to georgia" is "Carry me" is class.

The Levellers? I didn't know they they still existed!
I saw them sometime in the early 90's (or late 80's?).

What was that song they sang? Something about a cow, I think.
Or maybe I'm thinking another band altogether. Violins wasn't it? Or am I thinking of the Charlatans?

God damn...it's so long ago...
