Men don't think misogyny exists because "I've never experienced it."
Don't be so silly.

Rereading the thread I think he was genuinely trying to help you but some language was unfortunate and get others jumped on him. It was probably a combination but I'd say mostly because of the conversation with Ghost.
I agree, but the unfortunate language came before I could respond and that caused me to respond as I did. His first post was appropriate. If he had kept that tone, we could have had a conversation.

You probably saw a redacted/altered version of the messages (screenshots, whatever), designed to make him look not quite as bad as he was in that thread. You did not read the entire thread.
Yes, I did.

Any moron can do enough research to ascertain that's just too big for me. One of the first actually solid decisions I made was that I'd have to pare down the engine size. I had also decided that agility was a higher factor for me than sheer speed. My 400 is plenty fast enough and it's as agile as a monkey.
So you took divegeester's advice in the end?

@suzianne said
I never quoted you as saying "little girl scooter". That was the drift of what you DID say.
"Stick to little girlie scooters" was neither the drift nor the tenor of his advice.

That's fair. As I said to Trev, had you kept this tone throughout, we could have had a conversation. Your first post was spot on full of good questions that should have been asked.

@suzianne said
Well, it wasn't just that, to be fair. Many in the thread responded by saying stuff like he was going overboard about it. If anyone in that thread was acting like a girl, it was him attacking people who spoke up.
What does "acting like a girl" mean?

Do you ever find yourself "going overboard" about things and "attacking people who speak up"?

Stick to your own threads where you can shove people around.

Calm down, Skeezix.
