I know you support the war but what do you think of our governments actions internally, past and present? Furthermore, how much do you trust the government?

I have alot of trust in our gov I think Bush is handleing this war vary good, I belive he will finish the job that his father started, this war could have ended 12 years ago if Bush Sr finished what he started
I also think that "Accept Nothing but Complet and Totel Victory" is a better quote than
"I did not sleep with that Women"π out of those two quotes who would you have more trust with?
Originally posted by UncleAdamHonestly, I liked Clinton much more. In fact, I liked him an awful lot. I thought it was absolutely ridiculous that there was even mention of his sexual affairs. Bottom line is that our country prospered greatly during his two terms. The job market was competitive, our goverment was actually balanced for once, and your average american was enjoying a personal surplus. The only person in Clintons cabinet I have any real beef with is Janet Reno.
thank you.

I have immense distaste for Bush. I don't think he was elected fairly, I think he is a "bit" on the unintelligent side, and I think that he tries to get by with explioting peoples patriotism. I also think that he is a war monger and ignores the will of the people his office exists to serve.
Just my opinion. π

whats in it, I havent heard that much about it?
I know a lot of people would get mad at what I am about to say, but I HONESTLY see a lot of commonality between it and Nazi Germany. I don't want you to think that I mean we are neccesarily going down the same path, but there ARE common things. Ranging from the elimination of the burden of proof to privacy rights, I really think it tears down our constitution (not legally mind you). Just like how hate crime legislation can technically be used in ANY case of violence, the feds abilities are only hindered untill they say it is in the name of "fighting terrorism". I bet you can imagine the possibilities for abuse with this. I'd wager that if this had been in existence at the time of the Waco incident, we would probably be hearing that all of the Branch Dividians were actually terrorists.
