the scene with Neo and all of the Mr. smith agents apparently had more fighting in it that the whole of the 1st movie.
I understand what you mean about the gaps and stuff but if u have such a good film as the 1st one it is hard to make the second better.

For the mentioned holes - I believe they didn't want to solve everything, because they want us to go to the cinema in November to see the conclusion in Matrix Revolution.
By the way - have you seen Donnie Darko? If yes - Did you like it?
I saw it with my girlfriend who hated it (i.e. moaned al ot) so I would need to see it again, but I thought it was very well acted.

Well...I think the Matrix (the film) was created to be not understandable, it would make it intresting cause we wouldn't get it, what is real and what isn't. The Architect didn't tell stuf that the oracle didn't in 'The Matrix' but what I wonder about...is he a machine or a human....
I personally think it's so cool becausen ot only of the CGI's it could be real (right...) I mean, who knows we aren't plugged in as a grand battery system....

One really big hole in the concept of the matrix is the fact that they're using humans for a power source. Humans are terribly inefficient when it comes to producing/processing energy. Yes, they give off a lot of energy as Morpheus says, however, they take in far more than they give out. There's no way that the machine that is the human body could be made to be more than 100% efficient which, for a surplus of energy to power the machines, would be needed.
Nktwild I never said that Reloaded was a bad film I just said that it didn't leave the same impression as the first, I'll probably still buy the DVD and probably even go to the cinema again. Also i think you'll find that people weren't complaining about the Smith fight scene because of the concept of Smith attacking Neo but the fact that the directors/producers dragged it on too long (personnally a problem I didn't notice, unlike the sex scene but I've already mentioned that...).

and david-stop knicking my ideas...a few things-1. how are babies "made" in the real world? apparently, they are "grown", but grown from what?
programs-to terminate a program you must kill it as you kill a human (or with a silver bullet...:p), i.e. you shoot the keymaker a couple of times and he dies...same with an agent-you shoot him a couple of time, and he dies. except, he seem to be able to come back to life...
i think they use bullet-time a bit too much in this film...
and a big problem-where are the guns?!? i miss them. the only time you see guns are when trinity is falling (she's got two machine guns, and he can't dodge cause he's falling, and she still can't hit him?!?) and at other random points in the film for about 10 seconds...and they all use machine guns now?...
if 5 neo's came before the architect 5 times before, and gave his answer in 5 seperate ways, then a. why doesn't he remeber those other times? and b. why is every T.V. giving a different answer when only 5 others were given?...(and there's at least 50 T.V.'s)
the only "white" people in zion were either crew members or on the council...
"if the war were to end, then zion's where the party would be-it's in the middle of the earth, where it's still warm" (or words to that effect)
and yet, the council member guy comments that if the macheines were to go down there would be no light, and no -erm- heat...
i think there were some other's that i found, but these are all i can remeber...🙄
Genius,
In answer to some of your questions, the babies are obviously test tube type things. if doctors can do it now they can in the future.
The agent come back, either bacause they have some sort of back-up program stored outside the matrix or because they are to a degree from outside the matrix; they just possess someone new.
I don't think that the screens were showing the other five 'Ones' who had been there but rather all the different ways in which this 'One' could react to the problem at hand. I think that just because there have been other 'Ones' it doesn't mean that they were the same man and it happened the same each time. Infact this time it didn't happen the same as we can tell from neo falling in love with trinity and ignoring the architect.
the heat thing was just a metephor, I think...
most of the other problem are a matter of opinion, although I did notice a lack of white people in zion.
