The most powerful thing in the world.

The most powerful thing in the world.

The thing that knows no bounds, knows no equal. The thing that can never be eliminated or destroyed.
The thing people will sometimes fight to the death for. The thing that can sometimes blind us to reason.
The thing we realize surrounds us in our everyday life if we only bother to look for it...yes, I am indeed talking about human stupidity.

You think the Oil leak is funny?

Weird sense of humour in my opinion.

Let me interpret for you Rusty.

"That's funny, good one Raven." means that her post was funny, what she said, how she wrote it.

"I thought you were going to say "Crude Oil"!" means that she could have been talking about "crude oil" instead of "people's stupidity" and it would make perfect sense to me.

You do know about the Crude Oil Leak? It has been all over the news.

I wouldn't see that as being funny.

But feel free to interupt anytime. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Do you really think that you need to interpret for me? ๐Ÿ˜›

Crude Oil just doesn't stand a chance against stupidity...it's like a disease, it spreads everywhere and gets under your skin and festers. And as soon as you scratch it, even just a little, it infects you. The urge to scratch is strong, oh yes, but we mustn't give in.

For those of us not yet afflicted, I say to you, my friends - stay strong! Always remember, it will only infect you if you let it.

Not to contradict you, but I feel the opposite is true. If knowledge is power, then ignorance is weakness. Stupidity would be weaker yet, as the stupid are people who lack intelligence.
My opinion.

enlightenment and ignorance are inverse proportions, ones mind can be infinitely small as well as infnitely large. Sort of like the ph scale. acids are the opposites of bases, yet both are corrosive๐Ÿ˜›

The problem is those more knowledgeable hoard those less than themselves like sheep for their own profit. It's called power without ethics. Or dumbification for profit.

This way while knowledge is power, it is ignorance that spreads...
