Someone bump this one back up in a few months, see if I am still a non smoker. πŸ˜›
why are u quitting? for your health?
If so, indoctrinate yourself with the cig-lung combination. Whenever you think about a cig, you will also think about your lungs. Then picture this:

Im cutting down on smoking weed, and it helps me cause i know i want to do it to improve my condition.
I understand stopping with smoking will be alot harder then cutting down on weed which i used to do now and then. gl.

From the moment I stubbed out my last ever cigarette on Tuesday March 21st 1978, I don't think I have met a single smoker who will forgive me for having found a way to easily do what they believe is impossible. Stay away from smokers if you really want to quit, because if they know you are serious, they will offer you the last cigarette in their pack, if they think it might make you fail in your undertaking. Dont take my word for this, just watch it happen.

Thanks for your support.
I am quitting for heath reasons.
My last cigarette was Sun 10:30PM my time. I made it through yesterday without climbing the walls.

I still think I can do this. πŸ˜‰

You do realise that cigarettes are nothing more than a penile substitute. πŸ˜›

Good luck with it Ice. It has to be something you "Really" want to do. I quit 3 times. The first 2 times I did it for 2 years. The 3rd time was 25 years ago and I haven't had the urge to go back at all. It really is worth it but don't give up if it doesn't work this time. You've made the choice to quit so that's the first step....well maybe the 2nd or rd but don't give up.

The first time I quit it was cold turkey. I had just had enough, and I was motivated. I quit for 2 years. Then I stupidly went through the "I can have just one" BS, and soon I was back the same as before I quit. The second time was a bunch of us from work went to this stop smoking class using hypnosis. And what zozo said is right. They had you associate the urge to smoke with pictures of what that crap does to your lungs. It worked, and I haven't smoked since.

You have to really, really want to quit. And if you want it badly enough, you can do it. If you're just kinda half-assed about it, and maybe you don't really want to quit, then you won't.

Good luck, man. It is important for diabetics to quit smoking because they already have one strike against them. Smoking just makes all the complications from diabetes even worse. And faster.

You can do it.

If you want something to do with your hands, just flip through a book of all the people you've helped kill with your second-hand smoke.

Secondhand smoke exposure is the number two cause of lung cancer (smoking is the number one cause)

Last Sunday was my 28th day. I got into a fight with my daughter and had a relapse. I took about 4 puffs and realised it didn't even taste good. You'd think after 28 days it would be like candy or something.
I messed up that once, and I doubt I do it again. I really am far better off without them. πŸ™‚
