Can I request that Hobgoblin Ruby is stocked at this bar please ?

If anyone has never tried it then it’s smooth 5.2% caramel beer bordering on stout, that just slips down that I have recently been put onto, brewed in Oxfordshire.

We are short of staff temporarily and so we are trying a new system of self-service, just until things are sorted out. We try to have everything available - you pick what you want (the chef is still here but very busy), fill out an order sheet for the chef, and after you are finished you add in the form what you have had, and pay in a bowl on the counter. I have seen this being applied in a popular restaurant in Malmö in the 80's and it worked very well.

He did pay for it, the whole cake - placed the money in the bowl and removed his cup and plate from the table, the way we hoped. An exemplary customer.
