@drewnogal saidNow that I think of it I did ask his girlfriend for a date and she accepted. You may be onto something there.🤔
Or was it an issue with his cousin or rather the cousin with HIM? 😫
@great-big-stees saidWhen your steering goes my friend, it is a tie-rod-end which controls the stearing.
As I am not in the least bit mechanical I have no idea what went wrong, aside from the steering wheel not responding to my “request”.
By the way I'm not mechanic or tech as they call them now, but that is a pretty simple one.

@great-big-stees saidHe is just pulling your chains don't bite! 🙂
You call in’ me a “Stranger to the truth”?😡

@very-rusty saidWell that “chain” was attached to my nose ring and it hurt and my natural instinct was to try to bite them.😡

Now who wants what...and when is torunn coming back?🤔
@great-big-stees saidI believe you're more interested in when torunn is coming back than what people want. Did you have your morning coffee yet? 😉

@lemondrop saidALL are welcome here but a loud fart does seem a bit...childish.😡
the gooster said he would be dropping in
we should greet him with a loud fart
@lemondrop saidI know what you're talking about Lemon.

Stees probably missed what the gooster said as it was in another thread.
I do agree with Stees though does seem a bit childish.

@great-big-stees saidI hope the clown car, ahem... Minx can be repaired.
I once, and only once, borrowed my cousin’s 1959 Hillman Minx. I was driving back home, along a road that ran beside a stream of about 3 feet in depth, from an appointment. As I came upon a curve I started to brake and turn into it. The braking worked some but not so the steering. I ended up in the river. I sure missed the steering when it was gone. BTW, I came out unscathed and the car was extricated from the river by one of the local farmers and his tractor.🚜😲👍

@gambrel saidIt was and it was a long time ago...58 years.
I hope the clown car, ahem... Minx can be repaired.
@great-big-stees saidSorry for keeping away - I'm still in my temporary home and didn't find the charger to the computer until just now. I packed it in a safe place so that I would easily find it, and then I couldn't find the safe place. 🙂 A glass of chilled wine and a cheese and ham bagel would be very much appreciated, thank you.

@gambrel saidIf it sat there since 1959 I severly doubt it 😉
I hope the clown car, ahem... Minx can be repaired.
And of course Stees was faster than me:
