Not everyone is as silly enough as Poo fans to subscribe to BT Sport, but I still watched for free via a steaming app.

Tuchel got the tactics wrong, believing his own press too much, getting a little big-headed I think. Giving Werner 90 mins was more astonishing than starting him, Lukaku hardly got a sniff and it was all hands to the pump for 75 mins. Highlighted Chelsea’s weakness in midfield attack in games where they have to sit back and attack on the break.

I look forward to your objective (sic) analysis of Liverpool’s performance where you will undoubtedly blame injury, refereeing decisions, covid travel restrictions and brexit if you lose…and crow endlessly about moral superiority if you win.

Seemingly a day on which tactics went out the window. Goal up, ten minutes to go and we still had all four forwards on the pitch with nobody rested apart from Curtis. Presumably hoping for 4.2?!? Strange one. Very slow to get started. Looked like one eye on the coming games.
