Well, The Turk, in the US, is a term for getting the ax at work. My company is being bought, and The Turk is here today. If you make it to a 1 pm meeting without being contacted, you have made it. So, naturally, I need a pint and a smoke. Also, I am looking for some cut day stories that some of you may care to share. Any good ones to take my mind off of this?

Originally posted by Jacko007Erm, jacko007, you're in Scotland, about 5 hours ahead of the nearest point in the US. You posted that at 11:49 Eastern Standard time, which means that since our worried subject is somewhere in the US, it was between 8:49 and 11:49 for him. It is now 12:26 my time, so hang in there willatkins. Best of luck to you in the next 34-214 minutes, wherever you are 😀!

Wherever the "The Turk" comes from, good luck fending him off!
