The walrus would use a stepladder to change the bulb, he would change the bulb to avoid bumping into things in the dark in his igloo and the other walrus would be blubbering at having to hold a flashlight in her flippers for a long time while the first walrus changed the bulb (not an easy task for walri from all accounts)
