I actually have that music video... gives me a good laugh everytime I see it...
Another terrible Bowie songs: Day In, Day Out -- easily his worst recording ever. It also has the most dire video...singing, dancing, clothes, hair, all dire...like he was trying to beat the 80s at their own game.

The best scene in the bowie/jagger video is when they jump down from the railing and it freezes for a second while they in mid air..... has me in stitches!
..... has me in stitches![/b]They do seem to have had a lot of fun on that shoot.
I'm sure you'll have seen Labyrinth, then? Some pretty terrible songs on that, too, although I've come around to liking them all (I like most of Bowie's stuff, except the albums Never Let Me Down and Loving the Alien--could he really have been that uninspired?).

haven`t really heard that much of bowie, my friends got a few albums (not sure of the names). Some of his stuff is good some leaves a lot to be desired.
Originally posted by Bosse de Nageyeah, i've often wondered about that - i'm a huge fan of most of his 70s stuff, but after Scary Monsters - it was like some uninspired alien had taken him over. Kind of ironic really.

Back on topic: most of my 'worst songs' have already been mentioned, but this one hasn't - 'Achey Breaky Heart' by Garth Brooks.

It's an album of covers from 1986. It has some great songs and some dodgy ones.
okay well my most hated song would be the bee gees "staying alive" ah ah ah *bang!
There's a song that they play on country stations , but is very pop sounding . I hear it all of the time at the hardware store or the garage . The lead singer's female , and the chorus goes something like , "This kiss , this kiss , " followed by something almost unintelligable and very fast like , "incredible something". That chorus lodges in my brain like a spear , and it takes days to remove it .
Oh and on the subject of country music , all politics aside if I hear that yokel singing "Proud to be an American" one more time I will prove to humanity that a guitar will fit into the human rectum .

No Politics. No chessy wedding songs. Just songs about drinking, Jesus and murdering/abandoning your loved ones. Sometimes all at once in the vein of Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard.
If you live in Toronto, check out the gigs section and see their outstanding live show. You may even get to meet a member from RHP there. 😉
