I don’t want another heartbreak
I don’t need another turn to cry
I don’t want to learn the hard way
Baby, hello, oh, no, goodbye
But you got me like a rocket
Shooting straight across the sky

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s impossible
This kiss, this kiss (Unstoppable)
This kiss, this kiss

Cinderella said to Snow White
How does love get so off course
All I wanted was a white knight
With a good heart, soft touch, fast horse

Ride me off into the sunset
Baby, I’m forever yours

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s unthinkable
This kiss, this kiss (Unsinkable)
This kiss, this kiss

You can kiss me in the moonlight
On the rooftop under the sky
You can kiss me with the windows open
While the rain comes pouring inside
Kiss me in sweet slow motion
Let’s let every thing slide
You got me floating, you got me flying

It’s the way you love me
It’s a feeling like this
It’s centrifugal motion
It’s perpetual bliss

It’s that pivotal moment
It’s subliminal
This kiss, this kiss (It’s Criminal)
This kiss, this kiss

this sound familiar?

whoops! got me...

Garth Brooks and Billy Ray Cyrus occupy the same niche in my conceptual space - it as if they are the same entity - most insipid C+W singer ever...

So does anyone remember "Elusive Butterfly of love"? Gag.
You can talk to Jesus on the Royal Telephone. Urrrp.
WWWAAAYYY back in 1959 a station in LA, Calif, KFWB used to be
all rock but in that year turned all news. The DJ's barricaded
themselves inside, took over the station and broadcast a song,
I just got back from outer space, going to check on the human race,
for 24 hours, announcing, say, And Now, Elvis, singing Love me Tender
and it would be, Just got back from outer space....
Then Ok guys now the Buddy Holly singing Every day.
Just got back from outer space.... etc. for 24 hours.

The worst song ever sung, was a song soooo bad I'll be surprised if anyone has heard it and retained their sanity.

The fall I went to college (1975) the crappy radio station in the local town kept playing "Billy don't be a hero" (Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods).

If you've heard it I'm sure you will agree this song should never have been written or recorded, and all copies and masters should be destroyed.

If you haven't heard, definitely DO NOT go look it up to find out what I'm talking about. It sucked then. 30 years will not have improved upon it. Trust me it will make you sick and insane.

BYW, Fall of '75 also had some great music - Springsteen Born to Run album.

Yeah, I know, I'm old.

The really scarey part RookRak ? : I did that from memory in about three seconds . It's still lodged in my forebrain like it came out of a nail gun . I honestly haven't heard that piece of **** for 25 years .

How about : "The Night Chicago Died " ? By Paper Lace (I think) . There's another bow-wow from the same era .

Yikes!

Sadly, I remember that one too. It certainly was right around the same time - thank god no college memories associated with it.

What about practically anything by Bread (Guitar Man)...Jim Croce (Time in a Bottle)...or those people who went through the desert on a house with no name (it felt good to be out of the rain).

"Billy don't be a hero" was on Priscilla Queen of The Desert so the song is familiar to a younger generation (getting older quickly).

America...and i think it was a 'horse with no name', unless you were just joking in which case let's stick with house.
