"Honest officer,I was just helping the pig get over the fence."
There's also another one. "Don't piss down my back and tell me its raining".

That's Pennsylvania, and it's sheep, not pigs.

While I've learned that there's very little value in 'discussing' with those who "lean to the Conservative", you should know that fence sitting is not where I'm at.

In 2003, I became hugely concerned where this country was going under the Bush administration. This was the first time since 1978 that I had been involved in politics.

I watched every "Ha ...[text shortened]... rave all you want. But don't under any circumstances consider me a fence sitter.
Are you a US citizen? And if not, why not? Until then, you have NO SAY in how OUR country is run! You can "kiss-up to" DR. Dean, the "Screamin' Banshee", all you want, but that doesn't make you an American until you become a citizen. Maybe they should allow you a "gold card" in exchange of a green card, but that's about it. However, good for you for your charitable contributions....

The funniest thing I ever heard Bush say was: "More and more of our imports are comin' from foreign countries."

However, I did once hear Bill Hicks say:
"So, this guy comes up to me after the show and says: "Let me introduce you to my wife and sister...." And there's like, 1 woman standing there..."

And in this lies the difference between being Canadian vs American.

Here in Canada everyone has a voice in how "we" run things. Everyone has the ability and the right to contribute in making a government that is accountable to the people. To all people, who regardless of citizenship, have the right to be heard and the the obligation to speak up in order to make this a country of true freedom. For true freedom knows no citizenship. True freedom requires no oppression or limitations on others.

Only in opening up ourselves to the real issues of humanity and putting aside the trivial disputes of nationalities will we ever have any hope for acheiving true freedom. For freedom at any cost is still not true freedom.

Freedom needs no protection or defense or even citizenship. Freedom simply needs the complete release of the fear of not being free. 😕
