Things I've always wanted, but never received

1) The complete MP3CD soundtrack of "Beethoven Lives Upstairs". 2) A larger name brand crockpot with a digital timer. 3) A second brain

to keep an eye on and, when necessary, supervise the old one. How about you, anything specific you've always wanted but never received?

1 ) A brand new car, not a decent second hand one, but a spanking new one.

2) A chip implanted in my head that records every experience and interaction that I have ever had so I can play back problematical ones and see if I did and or said the right thing. It was the subject of a T.V play and although it had it's drawbacks I want one anyway. Not dissimilar to No 3 above.

3) A hollodeck.

Receiving a second brain implies you already have one.

1). Dig deep and buy one.

2). Have you seen the size of videocams recently.

3). Have you tried LSD? This might be the answer to point 1 and 2 as well.

It's like the Wizard of Oz. Someone needs a brain and it seems someone else also needs a heart. 😛

1) I do dig deep and end up with decent second hand one

2) No matter how small it is it will only record what I choose to record, I'd end up with the truth edited by my ego.

3) Yes and it was a very temporary solution.

But thanks for caring.🙂

True.... though olde, worn out and well past the factory warranty.

Heart I've got, in fact, two: one in my chest that pumps and circulates barrels upon barrels of blood each day; and a second equally, if not more, important, between my pre-cortal frontal lobes. Day and night, its job is to assimilate information and circulate thought. It also handles memory storage in its spare time.

things are odd,
in that they are things...
and since things are just things,
they do not happiness bring...

want iz the same,
that desire that infects...
when wanting things iz rejected,
the way becomes direct...

from The Tao (as adapted by Ron Hogan from Jesse Garon)

If you can talk about it, it ain't Tao.
If it has a name, it's just another thing.

Tao doesn't have a name.
Names are for ordinary things.

Stop wanting stuff. It keeps you from seeing what's real.
When you want stuff, all you see are things.

These two statements have the same meaning.
Figure them out, and you've got it made.

You can't believe everything you hear on the internet.
