Things that can negatively surprise

Large cola bottles.

So I’m mixing some drinks and need more coke and I open the fridge and pull our a large bottle. It feels hard and ridged. So I open it and start to pour, but mid-pour the bottle’s structure collapses and a surge of cold sugar water spews over my worktop.

First world problem, but a bloody annoying negative surprise.

This thread has turned out to be more successful than I had imagined.

The steering on my car goes light at 140 mph. Its supposed to be a 'sports' car so that was disappointing.
Anyway I have found that you have got to be very careful when you are going double the speed limit as there are some bloody idiots on the road these days.

Probably because of the age limit being set at 13. I suggest there are 13 year olds probably know more than some adults. Then there are other 13 year olds who are innocent so best not to go into detail.
