I believed that Santa Claus really did take a bite from that cookie.

I remember loving cartoons very much and was told how they were made. I mistakenly believed that all television was drawn animation and marvelled how clever these people were.

I also believed, but only for a short time, that pencils grew, or rather were grown,

Childhood was indeed a wonderful time when anything was possible.

I remember thinking that cats were female dogs.
As a child, I thought this too!

That dogs were the boys and cats were the girls.

When I was a child I was made to believe that milk was too precious to be simply drunk for pleasure as milk, to eventually believe that drinking directly from the bottle having fetched it out the fridge was wrong to do, and to accept and apply the belief that conniving so that the cream came out of an unshaken bottle first and landed on my cereal was also wrong to do.

I sat watching cats shagging too often as a kid to make your mistake. Nowadays, we can watch videos of cats shagging on YouTube.

Primary school was such a joy and yet I was so badly behaved I hang my head over it. (Edit I had behavioural issues)

Paper mashe dinosaurs, drawing soldiers, all the amazing learning toys around the sides of the classroom, chalk boards and dusters, the secret cupboard behind teacher’s desk and playing hopscotch in the playground with Kim, the utterly stunning long haired girl I had a crush on.

    Did you have “behavioural issues”...?

I grew up believing that the crazy old woman that lived in a run down, creeky old house down the road was a witch.

He most likely did. Just didn’t look like what you believed 😉

I believed Tommy (last name left out in case of a law suit) when I was bitten by a neighbour's dog that I would die in 24 hours because Blacky (the dog) had rabies.

    Note: I didn't.
