This is a good thing. The post you're referring to as awful is both well written and makes a valid point. Don't do this. Don't quote others, tell us all how awful it is, and then expect everyone to automatically agree with you because you think it's bad.

Yes, there are creeps on the internet, and quite frankly they don't bother me after I politely ask them to stop. They don't cyber-stalk me. All but a few of them don't know my age until I tell them (they assume I'm 17-19 based on my pics). And afterwards most of them are quite embarrassed about the mistake and don't talk to me again after apologizing excessively. Please know that letting your children find these people on their own is going to be a lot more harmful than getting to know that they're there and how to properly deal with them.

I have no idea what you are talking about with the "consent". Her dad plays here and is active in the forums. I'd leave it up to him, he is obviously doing a fine job of parenting, if her forum presence is any indication of her real life.
