I'll be 15 in November, and my dad plays under the name Kirksey957. He introduced me to the site, and encouraged me to participate in the forums (when I first joined I had just turned 12 - which was before you had to be over 13). I quickly learned numerous swear words, tons of things I wou god knows what else. If anything, this site has benefited me when it comes to maturing.
Adults who send this type of messages to minors (who introduce themselves as minors) should be banned. I would even agree if Russ gave their credit card number to the police for monitoring.
I think there is quite a difference from having a laugh in the forums - where some posters make jokes about pedophilia or even make a funny (albeit sexual) remark to a minor - from someone who sends private messages of such a nature. A private message to a minor requesting explicit conversations is a serious matter and I have no problem with these people being at least monitored through IPs or credit card numbers.
Again, PMs requesting explicit conversations with minors are not a joke.
