Coulda been. They'll be harder to get rid of than the dust bunnies.

I'll bet Nordlys knows some language where dust bunny translates to some kind of snake. She knows a frightening amount of information. (or is good at making it up and sounding believable)

In Tsigurian, an almost extinct language spoken in a remote area in Siberia, dust bunnies are called "svili bisali", which means "fluffy snake". The Tsigurians only knew snakes from stories and legends, as there are no snakes in that region. It seems that their idea of what a snake looks like was somewhat off.
