Oops, sorry. It should have been "but don't forget what RookRAK and I have done for xym!", of course.

Yes, your avatar is fine again. The site must have been down for a moment.

defluvium [duh-FLOO-vee-uhm]

the shedding of some body part because of disease. Before you picture people dropping arms, legs, and ears left and right, let me reassure you
that the parts lost are usually hair and fingernails.

The warning came too late for me. 😕

I understand the weird part, but what's wonderful about "defluvium?"

It would be weird to lose your fingernails, but it would be wonderful if I'd lose my right foot. 😞

Be careful of what you wish for or say. It may come true. I know sore feet suck, but there is always some poor SOB that has it far worse.

I think you need to check your definition for "wonderful"....😕

You can get some strange ideas when you haven't been able to walk without pain for almost a year. 😕 But of course if my foot would fall off, I'd most likely get phantom pain, and I guess I'd prefer pain in an existing foot to pain in a non-existing foot.

Well, if one applies the Ontological Argument to the case, clearly you'd be better off without the foot - pain existing in reality is greater than pain that exists only in one's imagination. 😲

I know you've mentioned the foot pain more than once, and you've probably elaborated elsewhere as to its nature, but I have to ask... ...what's wrong with your foot?
