Nordlys, can you tell me how to say walrus in Norweigen and German? That way, I can say it in four languages. That would make me happy.

It's "hvalross" in Norwegian and "Walross" in German. They are pronounced similar. The "a" is pronounced like in "bar", the "hv"/"W" like "v". In what other language can you say it?

Thanks, I didn't know what it meant. BTW, the Latin name is odobenus rosmarus. And "the walrus" would be "hvalrossen" in Norwegian and "das Walross" in German.
