Up.

For this thread that doesn't question you, make retribution to you, or assault you if you correspond with it.

Feel free. It's a free world ( apart from the sub complainers who can't afford to play chess, and take it in their stride to learn. 😀 )

Ooops. I just made it a non-free thread. However, ignore my remark about non-subs, and it is still therefore free for you to contribute and correspond to this thread.

Thumbs Up!

Fixed.

Good Riddance.

All are welcome to this party!

It needs to be understood Bob, that I live in a different longitude than you, so my party time, after dinner, may well be inappropriate for your breakfast menu. 😉

However, 13 hours ago for breakfast, I ate Kao Pad Moo gap Pla (Pork fried rice with fish). Of course, that was a dual party only with beloved.

Lunch succombed to fresh fruit and fresh drinks. (Nam som = orange juice)

Dinner was taken outside at 6pm, a mixture of soups, rices, meats and assorted veg. And of course the necessary cool Beer Singha to accompany such in the heated evening.

On arrival home I was greeted by ex-colleagues who had waited for our return, as they didn't announce their arrival. The party has begun for our Saturday night revel. As I use my laptop, and they also, we play guitar and sing songs, have a beverage and enjoy the dark red sky as the sun sets into a resolution of darkness.

It's fun, domestic, entertaining and innocent. The beauty of life in one day of a Thai weekend. 🙂

I found that it was necessary to start at the beginning and move quickly through the words like leap frog. Fun! I have a strange quirk that I wonder if others share. I like to start at the back page of a magazine and work my way toward the front. Does that make me eccentric?

You like to save the best for last. My mother did the same thing.

I doubt that 65% of the worlds population can read English, nevermind that.

I think the 65% number was referring to English speakers and readers only Cad?

Share your quirk, Ale. Another of mine (discovered decades ago in an article on speed reading) is to scan an entire book within ten minutes by reading the last paragraph only of all chapters (except the final chapter) as a means of deciding whether or not you wish to invest the hours required to read the book properly. Your reading will become far more enjoyable and you'll be able to read ten times more books in the course of a year, by reason of eliminating the many volumes unworthy of your taste and/or time.
