You confused baseball with apathy (a mistake which is easily made).

Do a video search for "baseball fights" and "soccer fights" and tell me what the better sport is. (totally based on fights alone)

You think I'd voluntarily watch baseball or football videos?

Well, we regained our composure to even the series at one game apiece. Now it's back to Detroit. Looking good. Rogers against a gimpy Johnson tomorrow.

Now it is advantage Tigers with 2 games in the D.

What do you figure for tomorrow? What is the game time??

If the the Tigers win those 2, it's over baby! If they split, I still feel they have a good chance. John and Sue (the radio Yanks) keep saying how your team isn't giving up.

Sterling had a classic today... "It's a demonic Damon dinger in the upper-deck!" The local radio guys were busting him up saying he sits at home writing these things up incase Damon hits one to the deck or Jeeter gets a tripple or something.

Tomorrow is Rogers against Johnson. Saturday it'll be Bonderman against Wright. I think both of those games will be very winnable. Now that I've put the shame of our season ending debacle behind us, I think we've got a pretty good chance actually. We're certainly in a better position than the Twins. HA!

I hear the Yanks tried to Ice your pitcher in the rain the other night! Told him to get out there and stretch after the game was called off!

You should be mad. Please get mad now.

Leyland was a bit miffed. As he put it, (I'm paraphrasing) "My pitcher's in the bullpen warming up while the Yankees pitcher was on the freeway home." The only equitable solution would be to hang Steinbrenner from the yardarm.

Darn. I was hoping that this was a thread about Auburn football.

Kenny Rogers post season stats are 0-3 with an 8.85 ERA and 32 hits allowed in 20.1 IP. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/playerStats?categoryId=85376

Plus he managed to walk in a run as the last "play" to lose an NLCS.
