The revamped Tigers beat the Blue Jays 7-0. Their first opening day shutout since 1970. They hit 3 homeruns (including one by Pudge). At this pace they'll hit 486 homeruns for the season. Everyone who wants to jump on the Tigers' bandwagon better do it now, or you'll be branded as a johny-come-lately if you wait until the World Series to root for them.

From worst to first, 162-0, here we come! šŸ˜µ

Woo hoo! 7-3 over Toronto. Tigers are now 2-0. It's going to be just like 1984 when they started off 35-5. It seems virtually certain that they'll finish with over 145 wins on the season. Dmitri Young got injured, though...that's not good.

Oh, no. He did....

Young leaves game with broken leg:

Young broke a bone in his lower leg when he dropped to the field in a failed effort to avoid a tag by second baseman Orlando Hudson in the first inning. Young appeared to be in severe pain, but was able to put weight on the leg as he was helped off.

``It's frustrating because we have something great going on here and I want to be a part of it,'' said Young, whose Tigers are off to a 2-0 start for the first time since 1986.

That does stink, I hope it is only 6 weeks.

Thats good. I go see the Tigers with my ex brother-in-law when I'm in the Detriot area. I just hope my Braves will do something this year but, they lost a lot of players through free agency this year.šŸ˜€
