I'd prefer to keep it in the Culture forum. I have more than enough fora as it is. And I would like to keep it open for anyone, including those who aren't interested enough to join a club or those who are new to the site.

The reason I thought a club would be a good idea was because I felt it would be better to give out personal details (eg: links to portfolios, etc) to a more controlled environment.

Same here. I'm not the best photographer, and don't have top-notch equipment, but I do have an interest in and an appreciation for good photography. Maybe I could contribute with Photoshop tips, or something like that.
