Originally posted by thrashingweyerstrassI'm guessing that it's because you abuse it horribly. You and I have two games going, for example, that you should resign and just move on. You have no possibility of salvaging a draw in either one. In one of them, this became obvious to you a while back, so you started waiting a couple of weeks between moves, while still moving in the other game. Now it is obvious to you that you will lose the other game as well, and you have quit moving in that one. Personally, I am in no hurry. Two wins now, two wins later, it makes no difference to me, but, that is a very childish sort of behaviour. You are dragging along, holding up a tournament that you and I both are effectively out of. I had my internet knocked out for over a month by hurricane Ike, so I got timed out on a whole bunch of games in that tournament, and I accepted that I had lost that one badly before I got my internet back up and running. I got it back, only to discover that somehow, I still have a couple of games going in that one. What does that tell you? The adult thing to do would be to go ahead and resign and move on. Nobody wins them all. 🙂
why have u stopped me time out 😳
