Maybe it's just me ...
... but since the TommyBear episode last week, which is still awaiting some conclusion, I've become really skeptical of everyone posting in the forums. I was one of the people who thought Tommy was real - a mix of strange but genuine. Then he began with his stories and day to day I didn't know what I believed - I still don't.
He claimed to have over 30 RHP accounts, including seirawan, tejo, and eyeqpc. I read old forum posts for these accounts, and from the writing style I totally believe it could be the same guy.
TommyBear keeps making an appearance almost every night and throwing in a few posts. Why hasn't he been banned for admitted cheating or for claiming to be Tom Piceu? Nobody knows.
So now, every post I read I'm thinking "is this person also TommyBear?". Of course, if you also have TommyBear-o-Phobia you're thinking the same thing about me ...
Does anyone have some good conspiracy theories (for amusement only)?
Maybe TommyBear is an employee of RHP, payed to start zillions of accounts to pad the membership numbers.
Or, maybe Russ hasn't banned him yet because he's cooperating with international law enforcement to catch a wanted con-man.
There is no conspiracy, but it's a sad story and will be quite upsetting for you. Tommybear was abused by a Belgian FM over a long period as a child, and he developed multiple personality disorder in order to cope with the abuse. He's now starting to become aware of all his other personalities, many of whom have also subscribed to RHP. I know it will be hard for you to accept this, but you are actually one of his personalities.

You mean it's like that movie "Secret Window", where the guy that Johnny Depp thinks is trying to kill him is really himself?
Chess players with MPD could be a gold mine for Russ. Maybe he should look into marketing to them.
