This thread has convinced me to download an amiga emulator (WinUAE) and lots and lots of games from www.abandonia.com.

I just beat Steel Fury in a tightly contested speedball game!

Also just found this site if you don't want to be messing around with emulators - http://www.classicgamingpresents.com/store/

Depends on the size of the ring.

NES Edition:

1. Super Mario Bros. (In spite of the game's name, this was a game for the NES, not the SNES)

2. Tecmo Bowl

3. Wizardry: Proving Grounds of the Mad Overlord

4. Baseball Stars (SNK)

5. Final Fantasy (any of the titles are good, but I have a soft spot for the original)

Edit: Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe was an awesome game and will be making an appearance in the SNES Edition.

SNES Edition:

1. Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen

2. NHLPA Hockey '93

3. Romance of the Three Kingdoms IV: Wall of Fire

4. SimCity 2000

5. Mortal Kombat (or Street Fighter Alpha 2, whichever you prefer).

I was going to put Speedball 2 in this list until I remembered just how varied the SNES was in terms of games.

I like how Kung Fu Master dodges the knives only to have them impale Sylvia behind him who he should be protecting 🙂

Ah, the memories!

I also enjoyed Road Rash in the Genesis.
I liked kicking the little treasure gnomes! What a fun game. Altered Beast was good too.
