Sorry to continue forum. My opponent does not accept the views of Nemesio, and if anyone can quote a reference that is not open for interpretation (illustrations?) that would be great.
The rules state:
"Third repetition of a position. If any identical position appears three times during a game, then the game can be claimed as a draw"
I interpret that r ...[text shortened]... psoition and therefore a draw (and the movement of my pieces is irrelevant). Please help...

any chance we could implement this rule here? It'd be very handy for the next time I get matched against a 2100+.

He doesn't accept my views?
They aren't my views at all! They are my iteration of the
rules of the game.
Your opponent can cry 'draw' all he wants; he's wrong. If he wants
to play a game with different rules, then he's welcome to do so. But
what I, RedMike and other people have iterated are the rules of the
game.
They are not subject to 'interpretation.'
He is incorrect as anyone who knows the game and its rules will tell
you and you should proceed with the game until its conclusion.
