If there was really such a person as “Paul” which is possible of course – or maybe he is a compilation – no matter – He thought the world was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. He thought diseases were God’s will – not little microorganism invading your immune system.
You need to get a better education on these matters. Do some scholarly research on beliefs of the ancients on astronomy and medicine.

My boss is a graduate of VA Tech and his brother called him at work yesterday as the horrific news was breaking. There really are no words; just please keep the students and their families in your thoughts and prayers.

Good point, as usual, there are two extremely sound arguments to both sides of a gun control debate.

For some reason I think the founding fathers were hunters and liked to hunt bear, and they put the bears arms on a plaque and hung them over the mantle. Therefore, they wanted the right to bear arms.

- source of the previous joke is The Family Guy, I can't take credit for other peoples work 😉
Come on people, bear arms? get it?

😞

Explaining it doesn't make it any funnier. It's too big a stretch for a bad pun.

Read the link I posted and then you'll see that the majority of the incidents happened in the last 10 years. I still maintain that it's shocking how many there are. Maybe people in the US believe that it's a price worth paying to uphold the 'right to bear arms'.

This has nothing to do with the right to bare arms.

yeah, but a gun makes them that much more efficient. Try killing 31 people rampaging with a knife...

Maybe Paul was right when he wrote:
But understand this, that in the last days will come perilous times of great stress and trouble…hard to deal with and hard to bear. People will be lovers of self and utterly self-centered, lovers of money and aroused by a greedy desire for wealth, proud, arrogant and contemptuous boasters. They will be abusive, disobedie ...[text shortened]... will be lovers of sensual pleasures and vain amusements more than and rather than lovers of God.
Bingo. Right on, and all that...

Strap yourself in, kids... this is only the beginning...
