My rating is still provisional but i've lost one game & won nine. My rating went from 1200 to 1578 as i won my first few games, reaching 4 - 0. However, I have won my last two games & my rating is being reduced! What? The algorithm is designed to prevent a nob from ganging up on 1200 players and winning 20 in a row.
You noticed that your rating can go down from such a practice. But it is equally true, under certain conditions in the provisional stage, that your rating can go up when you feed on a diet of 2000 players.
