Anyone want to continue the debate on the merits of these 3 "prequels"?
Personally the first (The Phantom of bad Continuity (or Pre-continuity??). This really was worse than I could possibly imagine. Another gripe about "metaclorians", I have, but bothered I can't be.
2. Attack of the Clones. Ummmm. I loathe to say I actually enjoyed this one. Loathe to say it because my expectations were so low after Phantom that I'm not sure whether I just enjoyed it "in comparison" with the first. Further gripes re: ludicrous love story mixed in with some decent action
3. Revenge of the Sith. This better be good. It must be DARK. It must be MOODY and most of all it must FOLLOW THE PLOT....
Thanks for listening.........

episode III is doomed to be worse yet millions of fans will flock to go see it. they will stand in line because they are drawn to the power of the force, no matter how bad the movies are they must watch them.
Originally posted by XanthosNZIs this the same generation who don't know about Aushwitz? The education system these days really is dire. Star Wars Episodes 4,5 and 6 should all be on the national curriculum, preferably in Culture Studies. As should "Withnail and I" so that Danny can become a role model!

Originally posted by FavsI can't say I would go that far with the original triology but Episodes 4 & 5 I believe are on the API's top 100.

I shall be waiting with baited breath for the new Star Wars film! I'm so excited I could sh;t! It will be the best thing to come out of George Lucas since he imbibed the contents of toilet. I may shoot myself with all anticipation.

i can't believe you hold such a lame opinion!

Originally posted by jarrydYeah I want to see Vader again too to have something of the original triology to hang on to. I think the trailer looks cool but the other trailers were not bad looking either.
i just want to see darth vadar again, like in attack of the clones when yoda got out his light saber, it will hopefully stir memories of the original films.
Well, I know I'm putting myself out on a limb here, but...
I really liked Episode II. I thought it was as good as Return of the Jedi. I agree that Episode I was terrible, could have been better without Binks, and more development of Darth Maul's character, just darker in general. I have very high hopes (like everyone else) for Episode III. Let's keep our fingers crossed!

I've been sucked in to watch all of them because, probably like many of us, I grew up with the original trilogy and I just have to see it to its bitter conclusion. I am praying I am wrong about it not sucking.
