as per my post to Orky boy, I played warhammer 40K orks - they rules! they were more likely to ignore your orders or run away than fight, they had equipment that was prone to not work, or worse blow up taking them with it, they were by far the stupidist & weakest of the classes, but they kicked butt & were easily the most fun to play with. Who else had a gun that transported trained (cute & childlike) imps to an almost random spot in the blind hope that they'd appear inside someones armour, preferably the helmet and drown the soldier with fear promoted defication?
I used to play WH40K over 10 years ago. I got the original hardback rulebook. But Games Workshop annoyed me because they kept changing the rules so often. My rulebook was superfluous after about a year. Then everytime they brought out a new rule book (at 15 quid a time) they changed the rules again!
I used to have a Space Marine army. In the beginning they were easily the best.
After this when they updated the Eldar rules, they kicked ass for a while.
The first update to the Ork rules made them pretty useless but very fun, my cousins had Ork armies. I think they changed the rules again, making them better.
I also had a Chaos army which was great fun to create and make the figures, but I didn't really use it in battle.
I always fancied Warhammer Fantasy Battle, but most of my friends stopped playing (except for one who selfishly moved to France - he still plays!), so I had no-one to compete against.
