Why is it more about her?

My brother and his Japanese wife had their wedding in Germany because they wouldn't have been able to afford a Japanese wedding (but her mother and sister attended the wedding, even though it was very difficult to persuade her mother to travel to a foreign country). They had to stay away from Japan for a couple of years because it would otherwise have been expected that they have a wedding party there as well. Yikes! Luckily things are more relaxed in Germany.

The same with me and the Irish one. I Haven't stayed in Scotland for years, and i like the idea of having one In China (not least because it's cheaper, and we want to save for a house too).

Both.
If Huck has his clans tartan it would be traditional to wear it.

It is etiquette nowadays in China for the groom to own both a house and car prior to the wedding, you know! 😉

No go! Unless you marry a chinese and then it will be in joint names.

I would be on the same wagon were it available. Afraid not. There's also no land left in Hu (Shanghai) to buy...... it's all accounted for upto 75 miles in any direction out of the city..... 🙁

Wuxi is the place to buy... gona be a massive city and industrial place in the future - already on its way. But you need a Chinese wife first! 😉
