Am not familiar with the topic of the first thread.
topics 2,3 and 5 do not belong in debates.
The religion thread does because from the topic it asks for discussion 9or debate).

Does Bible study week 1 ask for anything in the topic?

The religion thread asks for neither debate nor discussion. It asks
that everybody lines up, speaks their creed, and then moves on
so that the next person can do the same.

The Bible Study does ask readers to complete some exercises,
presumably to be discussed as a group.

The problem lies with you use of presumably. I don't know your age group so I will use both the Odd Couple and The Bad News Bears to illustrate. You do know what they say about assumptions right? They make assume become ass u me ๐Ÿ™‚

How did your quote get mispelled ?

Ok, perhaps I have a naive definition of what a Bible Study is.

But that still leaves several other threads that you admit don't
belong, but that you haven't spoken out against. This indicates
that you have a particular bias against RBHILL or Bible Studies.
Otherwise, you would have raised hell about all of the threads
that don't belong.

When you do this, you forfeit the right to say "Because they don't
belong" when you speak out against the Bible Studies.

Why do refuse to see what I have been posting all morning? I have something against EVANGELISM in the forums or via PM. Should I say that again so maybe you'll see it?

Maybe there wouldn't be so much trash in the forums (at least from me) if some people would read my posts and respond with theior brains rather than responding while not reading and responding emotionally.

Ok...you narrowed it down to two possibilities so why do you assume that it must be that I am against Rob?

For the record I am not against bible studies, I am however against them being used to spam and as a method of EVANGIELISM in a forum that I paid to be a member of.

That is clear. The problem is that it is essentially
axiomatic to you, since you cannot back it up with
any reason why EVANGELISM should be banned.
All reasons that you have put forward fail to account
for why you don't have a problem with the other junk.

If you would just admit that it is an axiomatic opinion,
then we would be done. But you are trying to prove
that your opinion is right in order to make the community
also hold that same axiom and thereby ban the EVANGELISM.

I have also stated my opinion on the matter. The difference
is that I have backed it up with facts and observations that
EVERYBODY can agree on, even those who disagree with my
opinion.

Would a car dealership be able post in the forum about why the cars they are selling are better than the competions?

If it is selling or pushing any product it has no place in the forum.

Then why haven't you spoken out about the Philosopy Quotes thread?
That is pushing a product as much as the Bible Study thread is.

Did you read this?

What is wrong about that statement? What is wrong with my proposed solution of a forum for Religion and Philosophy? You paid for a subscription to this site and maybe you welcome evangelism. Ok go to the religion forum Russ hopefully creates. I paid the same subscription fee and i don't welcome evangelism, why should I be subject to it?

You have made it clear that your stance is axiomatic,
so I'm not going to debate with you on this matter anymore.

I am just staying on one topic.
Lets deal with one, and move on to the other.
These endless digresions do tire me so.

I tried to tell everyone several times before....but it just does not sink in RHBILL is preaching to you, he is trying to save your soul.
And now I have said it again.
