Octopus is beautiful. Char grilled, nice mixture of salad greens, Balsamic vingear and a tiny bit of olive oil.

Heaven 😀
You need to become a vegetarian. What did that octopus do to you?

I am niether a carnivore nor a vegatarian. A large percentage of my diet would be vegatarian food but I do enjoy fish (including octopus), chicken, pork, and very ocassionally beef or lamb. I have even eaten goat more than once.

once i was invited to dinner at a Cambodian friend's house...the first dish was soup with congealed pig's blood in it...i pretended i was a Muslim to get out of eating it. then, just to really make my evening, they brought out the karaoke set. actually i didn't know them that well, they were friends of my then girlfriend.

i've had crocodile and came real close to trying fried grasshoppers in Burma...

oh yeah, i just remembered - in a Vietnamese restaurant in Melbourne i was feeling adventurous so i ordered pho (beef noodle soup) with marrow. i thought the marrow would be fairly inconspicuous, but there was lots of it, slimy white worms it looked like. if i'd been feeling REALLY adventurous i could have ordered the same dish deaturing beef pizzle. for those who aren't sure what 'pizzle' means, yes it is what you are thinking...
