I haven't listened to those types of bass lines in ages. Probably 2001/2002 was the last time I was throwing shapes to these types of choons in London.

Another Julian Cope production -- "ambient metal" -- means Like A Motherfckr -- fun.

Do you like Brain Donor?
Some stuff is okay. L.A.M.F. is also the title of one of my favourite punk albums by The Heartbreakers.

I can't get into The Bug myself. Gave it a few listens. Interesting sounds but I'm not much into the dancehall.

I can see how the English would like it though.

Biddu -- Qurbani Bonus Beats

From Sitar Beat! Vol. 1

"The Sitar Beat series was built with the DJ in mind - collecting some of the wildest, heaviest and most psychedelic Indian Funk recorded and presenting it loud on wax, ready for the turntable ... Indian deep funk and psycho-psychedelic masterpieces recorded for the Bollywood film industry ... full length killers like the funkiest track from the rare “Qurbani” soundtrack ... Bollywood funk fiestas by acclaimed composers such as Kalanji Ananji and R.D. Burman, with extended breakbeats and re-edits that upped the funk to the boiling point ... Ravi’s nephew Ananda Shankhar’s instrumental Sitar freak outs ... diva Asha Boshle’s soulful wailings ... "

from Robespierre's Velvet Basement.

A lovely album. The Jacobites were Nikki Sudden and Dave Kusworth.
