I think (or thought might be a better word) that Audioslave was just taking the year off. Cornell is releasing a solo album in may. As far as I know, Rage is only back for one show in California sometime.

Personally, I love Audioslave's first album. The rest of their music sucks, though.

The best scenario being Soundgarden gets back together and Rage sticks. Or Cornell finds a new band and releases some better tunes.

Cornell officially left Audioslave - word on the street's that RATM might make a comeback, but it's complete speculation.

Audioslave is probably done because Cornell was the main force behind writing, etc.

Soundgarden's probably not coming back - I've heard a lot of people say they don't think SG would be as good as their old self.

A lot of people don't like his voice now.

His solo album is officially still coming out in May - I won't be buying it.

Most people's ipod song lists are shockingly bad though. I like to look at people's ipods shaking my head disapprovingly, then hand it back to them as if it was a turd.
