Neither would I. I'm not big on stealing (except illegal music downloading), but that doesn't make the point any less true 😛. Someone has probably done it for something similar to that purpose.

Seriously, it's laughable sometimes - ever seen a high school girl's ipod?
Fortunately not. I think I'd kill myself. I looked at my brother's ipod and I wanted to puke.

Most people's ipod song lists are shockingly bad though. I like to look at people's ipods shaking my head disapprovingly, then hand it back to them as if it was a turd.
Actually, I don't know what people have on their Ipods. I've never held one much less looked at the content of one.

Some people are worthless...

Music downloading seems fair to me if they're on a major label. I don't particularly like to steal from bands just getting started...

Try it sometime, for a frightening look into someone's bland psyche.

So would I, I've never seen a whole iPod, I just hear them talk about what music they like at school...

Oh god, sometimes I want to cry.

I personally think that despite only having 600 songs on there right now it's quite a strong collection - occasional iffy spots, but most of it's hard to argue with.

There's your #6 reason for homeschooling.

That's a band I wouldn't buy an album from - if I liked their songs I'd download it, they have 5 mil. people buying their MTV soaked product. 😉

I missed 1-5.

I'd shoot myself if I were homeschooled - how do you meet people?

6 is the new 1.

I used to play sports through the city so I met a lot of people through there. Along with the chess club I play at. I got all my friends by association through the club, actually. I went part time at school this year so you meet more people that way but you get to sleep in.

Part time to school? Sounds weird.

I've wondered - what's it like trying to get into colleges being home schooled? Surely Ivy Leagues and many private schools are basically impossible to get into?

You're allowed to take 2 credits worth of classes if you can't/don't want to go full time.

Depends. You can use your grade point average from the classes your took and put it in a transcript along with the other stuff you've done (ie chess). Couple that with your GPA and credits your homeschool gave you (there's a lot of official curriculum for homeschoolers, not bad ones either) and your SAT/ACT scores and you can get into a lot of colleges. My sister got into a good college doing most of that.

It's just as easy/hard for homeschoolers to get into the Ivy league as everyone else, I think.

If your smart and work really hard at it you'll get in, unfortunatly It's hard for me to get my school work done, cause I'm just so lazy.

Putting a transcpirt together when you hardly did anything for 4 years is tough work! 😉

Edit: but lucky for me I got a reasonable ACT score, so I did get accepted to at least one of the 3 colleges I applied for. still waiting to hear from 1 college.
