You know, it's just the ones of of this site for some reason... I can put Gil Scott Heron in the search and find what you're talking about, but your links don't work. They're working from other sites... I've just tested it. Weird.

BTW - Is That Jazz? is quality.

I am. I'm using a different version than I used to used to as well... it makes links even if you don't have the whole http://www stuff in front... it works on other sites. Must be a glitch.

"Linkify ting" it's called... maybe I'll switch back to normal Linkify...

Artist: Cut Copy
Song Title: Future
Album: Bright Like Neon Love
Genre: Electronic/Dance

Bright Like Neon Love is one of my favourite electronic/dance albums of recent memory. It evokes the spirit of 80's New Order, heavy on the synthesizers but balanced with a heavy dose of guitars and melodic vocals. Good for fans of Ladytron and Felix da Housecat.

Although I'm a fan of Felix da Housecat, Miss Kittin and other electroclash artists, the Cut Copy clips I've found on youtube (Future, Saturdays, Going Nowhere) all miss one of the things that attracts me the most in the genre: humour...

Edit: It's well made and produced, though. Just not my cup of tea.

Since we're in an 'kudos to' kind of mood I'm listening to DJ Format, that I've found out by a tip from RHP's best DJ: the mighty rhb!

Respekt! 😵

Hah! Darv knows no bounds when it comes to the musical voodoo he can conjure, his mystical insights an epiphany to the parched, the dry, the weary traveller on the long road of the modern cultural wasteland!

Aye! But mighty may the traveller be, there will always be a vulture at the end of his road.

Don't underestimate the power of a musical scavenger.

That's very true. They seem overtly serious in a lot of their songs.

Thanks to catfoodtim for introducing me to Simian Mobile Disco's "Hustler". One of my favourite party tunes. Check out the video where girls kiss each other and stuff:
