One of the most interesting shows I've seen in my day. Probably an act but entertaining nonetheless.
They ended up being mocked by most of the crowd afterwards, including me.

Sweet. I'm a'gonna put on "Ok Computer" right now...
I just got the bends. Also good.
What rage cd you got in?

"Pablo Honey" was good, "The Bends" was good, "Ok Computer" was excellent - then they decided to push the "arty critic rock" thing a little too far. Don't get me wrong, I still like the newer albums, but I don't love them.

Second, this is gonna sound like more old-guy crap, but the only Rage album worth listening to is the first one. The rest are sort of sorry repeats of the same thing, with none of the raw nerve, the dissonance, the balancing act where they almost (but not quite) fall into being nothing but noise. They pulled it in for the rest... It felt as if they were painting by numbers after the first one.

Nah, I hear that a lot. I'm not sure which one I like better. I just got the 1st and 2nd one.
If you want some real rock though, Soundgarden-Badmotorfinger all the way 😛

Badmotorfinger was cool. My favourite Chris Cornell project is/was Temple of the Dog - only the one album, but it combines the whoe grunge rock ethic with a sort of bluesy feel. Like it was made for smokey bars where everyone drinks their whiskey neat...
