A new series on American television on ABC (also available on Hulu) debuted its pilot episode Wednesday night (I caught the sneak peek after the Oscars last Sunday) called Whiskey Cavalier. This is about an FBI agent teamed up with a CIA agent who end up 'saving the world' every week. I found it quite engaging, good action reminiscent of a Bond movie, with good chemistry between the two leads. I can't remember what the last good action series on TV was, it's been so long now. Hopefully the quality stays high on this one.

@suzianne saidNowt. My telly gave up the ghost (in an amusing manner, but that's another whole story involving an orange ice rink) and I discovered I didn't miss it. At least not nearly enough to keep paying the cable company. So I don't watch telly. And I never was one for films. Live theatre, yes; but not really films.
I mean 'lately', not necessarily 'right now'.
Movies, TV, tell us what you're into or something new you've found.
Tell you what I've recently been watching, though. The Royal Institiution, the major scientific body in the UK, has put a decent number of its famous Christmas Lectures on line. Not all of them have withstood the test of time, but quite a few have. There's one series with David Attenborough. Sorry, that's Sir David, and not many of them have deserved the knighthood as much as he has.
@shallow-blue saidOnline? Would this be on BBC.com, or... where?

I love Attenboroughs' nature shows. Wonderful voice.
@badradger saidSeen almost every Luther, great show.
Luther (Idris Elba) the best british crime drama ever.
Still need to finish Sherlock, the one with Benedict Cumberbatch.
@ponderable saidI wanted to try this, but not sure about it. I'd be disappointed if it wasn't that close to the original.
So we watch now the third season of Man in the High Castle.
Not that it has much to do with the original Philip K Dick novella, but it is still highly interesting
@suzianne saidnah cant get away with sherlock, but have started watching battlestar on dvd very well put together.
Seen almost every Luther, great show.
