Have just been looking at the news with the shocking wreckage of the coach crash in Madeira where 28 people, mainly Germans, have sadly died.
Only yesterday my sisters and I were talking about our forthcoming holiday in Malaga. They told me how scary the bus ride through the mountainous regions had been during a previous trip to Gibraltar with sheer drops leading to mangled cars below.
@very-rusty saidWhy did I get a thumbs down for that someone had to watch no one touched it or bumped into it? π

@ponderable saidThat must have been a perilous journey for such a primitive time. Can you imagine having to have an operation by a doctor on the boat going to Australia ATT? God, I shudder to think of some primitive cutting into me not even bothering to wash his hands, much less the lack of anesthetics back then.
We watched "To the End of the Earth" a miniseries by the BBC after the Golding books.
It was well done, especially Cumberbathc played very well.
We watched the entire Game of Thrones, all of them but now Dish network has stopped HBO in some kind of financial dispute with them so we will have to wait till the whole season comes out on DVD.
My wife loves Outlander, she sucked me into watching, it is a good story, involving time travel and such. Real for sureπ
@the-gravedigger saidCan you try that again, this time in English? π
