Here's your chance to vote for my next beer adventure. Last night I enjoyed my first Boddingtons. A good time was had by all.
What brand should I try next? Of course I am somewhat limited in what may be locally available, but I'll make an effort to get some of the top vote getter.
Vote early! I'm thirsty already!

Being a big fan of continental beers, particularly German beer, which is brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot (purity law) may I recommend you experience Lowenbrau ? a lovely golden pils from Munchen.
You could try Stella,Labatts,Stern,Carlsberg ... the list goes sadly on... as they are mostly imitations brewed in the UK :'( and after all, if you were buying a Rolls Royce, would you want one from Japan !!!
Enjoy
😀

Deuchars IPA, although i'm unsure if this is readily available outside of Scotland.

My personal favourite is probably Theakston's Old Peculier - a lovely, malty, deep beer. Great. More of a winter beer though. For a lighter, summer beer - I'd go for either Summer Lightning or Firecrest (which is exclusive to Sainsburys).

I like Adnams Broadside Ale as well, Timothy Taylors, Black Sheep and lots of the more region specific ones you can't get everywhere (I always try a local beer when I travel).
Of course, if you prefer lager beer, none of this will apply. In which case I suggest a white beer like Hoegaarden (probably the only widely available one).

Just been thinking about this. I reckon we're advising all wrong. He tried and liked Boddingtons...maybe we should encourage him to start drinking dishwater or a pint of cat's urine perhaps...
I would advise an IPA (India Pale Ale) of whatever brand.

As to the cats pee... I've got three cats, but haven't had any luck getting them to cooperate. I'll keep you posted.
