What did you do to survive the RHP blackout?

I washed up.
I did some shopping.
I drove my car up the motorway and I went to see my Gran.
I learn't how to play a new song on the guitar
I also learn't how to use Sat Nav on a PDA (how cool!!!)
I got 8 hrs sleep for the first time in a long time.
I framed a picture.
I combed the furballs out of my cats coat.
I visited an old schoolfriend.
I didn't talk about chess (much)

I briefly had a life again.... but...

Now:
I have to be up in 7.5hrs
I'm hungry.
The cat is hungry.
Washing up needs doing.
I've got nothing breakfast.
I've got 24 games waiting though...

Will I ever beat this terrible addiciton?

I readjusted the sun-tracking mirror on the roof (the pivots sadly needed grease) it tracks perfectly now, once again we will be ant-free this summer.

I spent the entire time going over every saved game I have from RHP and praying that God would intervene on my behalf to get RHP back up and running before the deadline. 😛

i was working all day satarday and was out friday evening, so the blackout did minimal damage. althought i was reeeeeeeeeeeeally bored satarday morning before work. i actually opened a book and read!

Ummm.... what did I do to survive the blackout?

Well, seeing as I was stuck in a hotel in the back of beyond inbetween working on-site at a client, I survived by watching movies on the hotel entertainment system.

Watched "Lost in Translation", "The Village", and a number of other so-so movies.

I argued incessantly with the other guitarist in my band, kicked the wall a few times and cursed my bleeding fingers, forbade any of the band from drinking, to which they all said 'f@ck off' which started another arguement. And somewhere in amongst the maelstrom of a day underground we managed to produce some pretty good stuff. I still believe I actually need to work out how to play solos, but the rest was good, singer's voice especially sexy. Tracks to follow in two weeks once overdubs are finished.

Having nothing better to do in the office, I actually did some work. My boss was very pleased. I was not. Heavy drinking ensued that evening. I was pleased to return to my cyber-sedative the next day.

I'm just forgetting the whole thing..an awful week at work, my fish tank exploding at home, topped off with no RHP at weekend....I was on the edge...I really was.
