As I look around this site I find many people with interesting, weird or otherwise entertaining user names. Some, can be worked out and some are explained in the user profiles.
I'd be interested to know how some of you arrived at your user name and what they mean, if anything!
As a start I'll explain mine.
Wheely was a cat I had for eleven years who died two weeks before I moved to Norway. Ever since I connected to the internet in 1997 I have been Wheely in the places where I could get away without using my real name. There is a picture of him here.

Well, his full name was "Wheel Spin" because he used to do wheel spins on the kitchen floor while he was trying to dash off somewhere.
It was better than the original name I was going to give him which was "Ftdoth" which stood for Frightened To Death Of The Hoover.
I once had a Guinea Pig called Amphibalus. Is that any better?

I had a friend who named his dog D'fer.... as in "D for Dog" 😕
