http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palinka
Palinka is a traditional type of brandy that is produced [...] in the Transylvania.
The alcohol content is between 60 and 80%. The most powerful kinds of palinka are referred to as "kerítésszaggató" in Hungarian, which literally means "fence-tearer" and refers to a drunkard's loss of balance.
[...]
A shot of palinka with its high alcohol content helped digest such an unhealthy diet. However, alcohol abuse was also common, such that a shepherd could boast of his ability to master one liter of palinka and still be able to tend his flock.

Mr. Bromage was a teacher at my high school. He constantly threatened to hurt children and their families, made up stories about what students had done to the principal, in order to get them in trouble for things they hadn't actually done, and was prepared to lie to back-up his stories. I'm sure he's been responsible for some unresolved murders. And now he's a remedial massage therapist! At least he was always good for a laugh.

Any chance you'd care to explain why?
It started off in some RPG game on the Gameboy, where one of the spells was Ragnorak. I liked it, and came across Ragnorak again somewhere, so I looked it up...http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=ragnarok&btnG=Search&meta= and liked the Armageddon and Norse Mythology bits.
I used it first when playing Battlefield 1942 online. I really liked running around killing people under the guise "Armageddon". I've just kind of stuck with it since then. I always thought I was spelling it right when people asked me, until about a year ago, somebody verified that I was wrong on here in a similar thread to this. 😳

I think I explained this once before...
I was visiting Taiwan, specifically one day where there was an exhibition (at Confuscious Temple, Tainan I think) about Dutch invaders of the Island. They were described as 'Red Haired Barbarians'. The Taiwanese people were fascinated by my red (Ginger) hair - which made the holiday somewhat surreal - being stared at everywhere & stopped so the locals could take pictures of me, this kept happening all holiday. I was made aware that Red is viewed as very lucky in that area of the world, hence the fascination from the people about my hair.
My dad and sister began to refer to me as the Red Haired Barbarian, and the acronym rhb has stuck as a tag I have used ever since, although I signed up here with my full name but asked admin to change this to rhb once I subscribed.
