I am asking this basic question as I've been in a few, but what makes them tick. I would appreciate your responses.
Then it is quite nice to be asked to join a clan. So put down vanity as well.
Originally posted by PonderableWell, Ponderable, that is exactly what I am trying to do. I have even invited Seitse as I think he would be great, and he is under-rated by so many people - including me. I think we could start a great little forum only club and say what we mean, and more importantly mean what we say. That is why somebody like Seitse would be great but I am on his ignore list.

If you like to make naughty pictures out of punctuation marks, there is a clan for that.
If you like to pretend you are black for the purpose of denigrating an entire race, there is a clan for that.
If you like to harrass and bully newcomers and decent posters off of the site, there is also a clan for that.

There's even a clan for friendly, ethical and fierce competition in an atmosphere of respectful collegiality. Watch for the next opening in IVV and apply, if you qualify.
