Disloyalty, dishonesty, deception for starters (along with brussel sprouts, as a child, but thanks to my parents decided they're good).
O.k., that's a start.

Next: Have you ever been blinded by hate towards an act of disloyalty?

if so, what did you feel? More importantly: what did you do about it?

Appreciate your friendly probes, but this conversation isn't about you

or me. It's about a major global issue: hatred and what motivates it.

And that is what I said in my initial post: it's like love, you have to experience it in order to grasp it.

Coherent with my opinion, therefore, I am trying my best to help you to dissipate your initial inquires.

Aristotle once said: For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them. Experiential learning is called.

Objective 'rational thought' brain storming is in view not subjective

experience or an empirical lab. Think big: what motivates hatred?

I see we're not understanding each other, good Bob.

I gave you already my opinion on how you can discover its motivations by yourself. My job here is merely to assist you in the search and discovery of your own answers, not to impose my views on you.

It is my humble opinion that such method of discovery is thinking big. Thinking big, in my very humble opinion, is not to provide chewed, simplistic answers.

Got Camus?

You're welcome.

So, what has triggered hate in you in the past, how did you react, and how did it make you feel afterwards?

Personally, I hate evasion.

You know, when a person purposely refrains from responding to the question clearly being asked in attempt to steer the conversation away from the point clearly being made.

Power struggler...

Me too.

But be kind to Bob. He has his own style, that's all.

I don't know, how do you think I perceive your feelings towards this particular issue?

Moreover, is it important to you what I think about your feelings?

My loathing for GB's willful ignorance and arrogant posturing knows no bounds. I can't say I hate him, but, I despise his actions. As a result I try to ignore him. The alternative is anger and I just don't care that much about him to be angry with him all the time.

I remain hopeful that GB will change his ways. Till then, I have no use for him and won't waste my time.

On the subject of hatred in general, I'm all for it. Emotion makes us human. In a purely rational society we'd not take care of the weak, the sick, the elderly, they're a waste of resources. Hence emotions, even hatred, shape our society in a positive fashion.

Hatred's a survival trait, a tool and a curse. Fear the man that doesn't hate. Those of us that have the capacity to do terrible things without hatred are wicked indeed.
